Answer:

Given below is an essay about Nelson Mandela and his anti-apartheid struggle.

Explanation:

Nelson Mandela was a South African revolutionary against the apartheid movement with a dream. He was a political leader and a renowned philanthropist with a vision. He was very determined, and would’ve done anything to get to it. He served as South Africa’s first black President, and was the country’s first elected in a completely democratic elections.

He aspired for a Government that focuses on dismantling the legacy of apartheid. This, he wanted to do, by tackling the instilled racism, and offering reconciliation. He also served as the president of the African National Congress (ANC), being a nationalist and socialist himself.

Amid a nationwide protest, he was arrested under the charges of a Treason Trial. Here, many people, irrespective of gender and race were tried, with most being released. After a few years, under a pseudonym, he escaped his country, and visited England to gain the support of the public, and spread awareness about his country. He then received military training in Morocco and Ethiopia, and upon returning to South Africa, he got arrested. Before this, however, he had already briefed the ANC President about his very educational trip.
