Answer:

Explanation:

There are 3 course of rivers-

1. upper course - in the upper course in the river flows very fast and with lots of energy. In this course river is small and it flows rapidly and has tumbling flow which cuts and narrow channel between any Hills or mountain.

2. middle course- In the middle course river gets more wider and the flow of river decreases. the force of the river in middle course is not enough to carry stones or gravels.

3. Lower course - the course is the end of the journey of river and the end of the river is known as Mouth. At the mouth there is a delta, silty area which opens into many different slow flowing channels which have muddy bank.

Answer:

"River landforms can be divided into upper, middle, and lower course features. These include steep V-shaped valleys, oxbow lakes and flood plains, respectively.

  • Upper course river features are steep-sided V-shaped valleys, interlocking spurs, rapids, waterfalls and gorges.
  • Middle course river features can be wider, shallower valleys, meanders, and oxbow lakes.
  • Lower course river features include wide flat-bottomed valleys, floodplains and deltas.
