Describe the formation of himalayan mountain ranges?

Before the formation of himalayas tethy's sea was present.after formation it disappeared.

As we know that southern part of India came and attached the northern
Part of India.at this time due to the force of southern part on northern part ,the foldings took birth at the place of himalayas.these foldings are himalayan mountain ranges.
