The Peninsular plateau is considered as tableland. It is formed of the volcanic, metamorphic rocks and old crystalline. The Peninsular plateau is contemplated as the magnificent land mass as it was developed due to the drifting of the Gondwana land. The plateau comprises of the extensive and superficial valleys and curved shaped hills. This land stretches from the Northern Plains to South of India beyond the Western Ghats. It is surrounded by the Eastern Ghats and Deserts of India on the Westside.
