The Peninsular plateau  is composed of the old crystalline, igneous and metamorphic rocks. ThePeninsular plateau is considered the oldest land mass as it wasformed due to the drifting of the Gondwana land. The plateauconsists of broad and shallow valleys and rounded hills.
