frequency is the speed of the vibration and these determine the pitch of sounds . it is only usefull or meaningful for musical sounds , where there is a strongly regular waveform . frequency is measured as number of wave cycle that occur in one second .the unit of frequency measurements is Hertz .(Hz for short )
