frigid zone lie at 661/2 degree north and south of equator it is the region of extreme cold and it's very difficult to survive there it is a cold region because sun rays are not able to reach there and sun rays are slanting and the whole area is snow covered throughout the year the region of frigid zone can be also called north pole and south pole
