When the blood clots then the platelets release an enzyme known as thrombokineses . thrombokineses acts on another substance called prothrombin which is converted into thrombin.this thrombin acts on insoluble fibrin which is converted into soluble fibrinogen then the blood cells entangle at the edge of the wound and forms a reddish colour at that place
