Nephron is the structural and functional unit of kidney. A million nephrons constitute each of the two kidneys.

A nephron begins with a cup-shaped sect called the Bowman's capsule that has a cluster of things blood capillaries known as the glomerulus. From the Bowman's capsule, extends the tubular part of a nephron.

The tubular part is categorized into three different sections:-

  • Distal Convoluted Tubule
  • Loop of Henle
  • Proximal Convoluted Tubule
