there are 2 types of blood corpuscles :

1) RBCs :

i)they form more haemoglobin for transportaion of oxygen

ii) they provide more surface area for abosoption of o2

iii) about 23% of co2 produced in the cells is carried from tissue to repiratory organs for elminiation

2) WBCs :

i)they engulf foregien and worn out structures

ii)can accumulate at the site of injury and fight with invading micro organisms that may cause infection.
