✍️The heart is a muscular organ in most animals, which pumps blood through the blood vessels of the circulatory system.

✍️Blood provides the body with oxygen and nutrients, as well as assisting in the removal of metabolic wastes.

✍️In humans, the heart is located between the lungs, in the middle compartment of the chest.

⇢Firstly the blood with carbon dioxide from all the parts of the body is received by the right auricle and ventricle.

⇢Then the impure blood which is collected , is pumped to the lungs for purification.

⇢Then, in the lungs, the purification takes place by exchanging the gases and the purified blood is sent back to the left auricle.

⇢Then it pumps the blood to the left ventricle, which finally pumps the purified blood to all the parts of the body through arteries.

⇢In this way the heart functions.
