Tawa Matsya Sangh is a federation of fishworkers' cooperatives. It is an organisation fighting for the rights of displaced forest dwellers of the Satpura forest in Madhya Pradesh. In 1994, the government gave private contractors the rights to fish in theTawa reservoir.

Functions of Tawa Matysa Sangh:
The functions of the Tara Matsya Sangh which were a sangh or cooperatives or association of fish workers are enlisted below as the following –
- Fought for the rights of the fisher men.
- They associated against the rights of forest people who were displaced from the Satpura region of forest of Madhya Pradesh.
- Lastly, in the year 1994, the Tawa reservoir was given the contract to private firm to allowing the fishing and maintenance of the TAWA reservoir.
