✴ Right to information has been granted to every citizen of India under Right to Information act, 2005 which came into force on 12th October, 2005.

✴ it is not a fundamental right but it initial cloud for penalty in case of delay in giving information to the applicant.

✴ information commission has been set up at Central and state levels to oversee in implementation of the act.

under Right to Information act 2005 we can ask anything to any company, any organisation, any government body and they will have to respond to our question in writing. they will also provide us some document in support of their answer.
