(1). Go east movement was the movement which was launched in the first decade of 20 th century.
(2). In 1907-1908, some 300 Vietnamese nationalist went to Japan to acquire modem education. But most of them,main objective was to throw out the French from Vietnam and also the puppet emporer and re-establish the Nguyen dynasty that had been deposed by the French.
(3). These nationalist looked for forign help and arms. They appealed to the Japanese help as fellow Asians.
