Growth of bloc politics in Cold War arena:

The growth of the politics was based on dividing the whole world into the form of major alliances during the times of Cold War as there were many states who does not wish to be in alignment with either of the two powers or opponents of the Cold War.

In order to remain and withhold their independence, the movement of Non- alignment was initiated and motivated to stand independent from Soviet Union as well as from the Union of United States. The movement was initiated by president of Yugoslavia Josip Tito.
