Modern farming practises harm the soil as due to ever increasing demands for food and fodder farmers tend to increase the commercial crop production. To achieve maximum production they use fertilizers and pesticides which are composed of chemicals. These chemicals affect the quality of soil. Also due to lack of crop rotation soil loses important nutrients.

The adverse effects of modern farming can be prevented by following sustainable agriculture. Also instead of using chemicals we should use bio fertilizers and manure.it harm by pesticides , fertillisers it less fertility if soil and this will prevented to remove weeds by manual and use manure instead of fertillisers
