When current flowing through the conductor.heat energy is generated.T he heating effect of electric current is depends on three factors...
Resistance....higher the resistance of conductor more heat will produce

when the electric current flow in the circuit through any source and travel to the filament of the bulb ,there were some heating effect felt ,this heating effect is due to following factor _
1/ the filament of the bulb is made up of tungsten which us a semi conductor ,which get heated quickly .
2/ since electric bulb need,s a less amount of current , for light production. so high resistance is apply in the circuit due to which heating effect felt .
3/ it also depend upon time ,that for what time electric current is continuously flowing in circuit .
