The wall of the eye ball is composed of three layers.
External layer is called sclera. The anterior portion of this layer is called cornea.
Middle layer is choroid and it contains many blood vessels that's why it has bluish appearance.
Choroid forms ciliary body. And ciliary body forms pigmented and opaque structure called the iris which is visible coloured portion of the eye.
Ciliary body helps in fixing the position of lens.
in front of the lens, the aperture surrounded by the iris is called pupil.
Inner layer is called retina on which image is formed by the lens
