Conservative actually means the ideology where the new change is acceptable at a slow pace but traditional practices is more emphasised.

The Conservative Regime which was set in 1815 in different parts of the Europe were autocratic in nature. They did not tolerate any kind of criticism and sought to curb activities that were against them.

Most of them imposed censorship laws on what was said or printed in newspapers, magazines, radio, T.V., and the sources which depicted the ideas of Liberalism from French Revolution.
