this incident took place in 13april 1919in Punjab. the general dyer was handed the charge to maintain law and order in Punjab . on 13april a baisakhi day a public meeting was organised in jallianwala Bach . dyer marched in and without any warn ordered to shoot so 379people were killed and 1137was wounded.
