Mostly colonialism was bad. But, we can find out some good aspects too.
#1•India was one the richest countries in the world during 17th and 18th centuries. Britain looted India like hell. And that led India in poverty.
#2•British industrial revolution of textile was boosted by Indian raw material. Britain's forex came from labour of Indians working in tea and sugarcane plantations in carribean and India.
#3•Indian subcontinent people got connected with western countries.
#4•India came familiar with science and technology and literacy of India improved.
#5•Abolition of sati, untouchability, equality to women in society, assests of father, widow remarriage are good outcomes of colonialism.
