• The food chain or the flow of the biological energy through the food chain is one of the most important factors which is keeping alive,the existence of the life forms on the earth.

• And,the food chain starts with the green plants or the producers of the food chain.

• The plants independently produce their own food by capturing the solar energy into biochemical energy form,by the photosynthesis process.

• This biological energy is later transferred to the other segments of the food chain. And,the every organisms of the different levels of the food chain,gets benefited by the food generated from the photosynthesis of the plants.

• In this way,the photosynthesis becomes an important factor for keeping the existence of the different life forms on the earth.
