Describe the Importance of rain for tea and rice?

as we know that, the most water consuming crops are rice and tea. so rain is important for specially these two crops. in any region where these two crops r grown, it should be rainy area where these can grow easily

Paddy and tea needs more water as compared to other crops. So, paddy and tea needs rain water.
If the place is having a sufficient amount of water the farmer can use borewells. If the place is at drought condition only rain water can help the farmer.
