When lift was about to get to ground floor, I opened the lift gate in a hurry before it settled down. The lift was stuck. To make it move I had to close the gate again but it wasn't moving. I called my driver and requested him to wait for me.
The Incident In The Lift
I was in hurry today because I had a presentation at my office. As I live on the 8th floor of my apartment, I was eagerly waiting for the lift. When I got it, I was so happy. I entered into it and pressed the button on the 1st floor instead of the ground floor. Suddenly, an old woman started shouting saying why I pressed the downward key instead of upward.
I tried to make her understand that this lift is going down for now. But, she kept shouting at me and I failed to make her understand the situation. I understood that she has very little idea about the process of lift. So, I stopped convincing her and tolerated this till going out of the lift.
