Explanation:

The incident of a day with Rosa Parks.

Two times a year, on February 4th or December 1st, Rosa Parks Day celebrates a pioneer in the American Civil Rights movement.

Rosa Parks, a pioneer in civil rights, is honoured on this day.

After a hard Thursday at work, Rosa Parks boarded a bus in Montgomery, Alabama on December 1, 1955. She settled at a seat in the "hued" area. The Cleveland Avenue bus was starting to fill up as she was riding it home.

According to Montgomery City Code, bus drivers might designate seats. They were unable to insist that passengers from their seats, though. Despite this, when public transit grew overcrowded, bus drivers would often demand that black passengers give up their seats to white passengers.

Parks refused to vacate her seat when the bus driver requested it. Her arrest by the police led to events that have become part of Civil Rights history. Parks was assessed a $10 fine plus a court charge on December 5, 1955, after the courts determined that she had broken the law.

Martin Luther King Jr. and E.D. Nixon, two prominent African American activists, planned the Montgomery Bus Boycott to coincide with the trial date for Rosa Parks. The transportation infrastructure in Montgomery was completely destroyed by the boycott, which was successful and endured for several months.
