Abdul kalam used to wear a cap which marked him as a muslim and he was always sat in the front row with ramanadha sastry, who wore the sacred thread. The new teacher could not have stomach a hindu priest's son sitting with a Muslim boy. when new teacher see that a hindu boy sit with a Muslim boy, a new teacher asked abdul kalam to go and sit on the back bench and ramanadha sastry feels very sad.
