In this novel one day Helen Keller had spilled water on her apron and she took the apron in front of the fire with a notion that it will be dried up soon. Unaware of the distance she gradually approached towards the fire as she was intended to dry up her clothes. Suddenly the furious incident took place that her dress blazed by fire and that inclined her. She screamed with fear her clothes caught fire and she was fortunately saved by her old nurse. Viny threw a blanket to rescue Helen and smothered the fire and coincidentally she was harmless, only her hands and hair were burnt by the fire.
