Describe the incident when Mr crocker Harris made one of his classical jokes

One day Mr. Crocker Harris made one of his classical jokes in Latin; but none of the students understood it. Taplow felt sorry for Mr. Harris and in order to please him, he pretended to laugh at the joke.
Mr. Harris instead of being pleased, wondered at the advancement of Taplow’s Latin and asked Taplow to explain the joke to the entire class so that they could also laugh. Poor Taplow was embarrassed as he also had not understood the joke.
Taplow narrates the incident about the one day at the time of the Mr. crocker harries create of his classical effect and also more jokes in the class.
But no one can understand when it helps nobody to laugh.
Apart from that they knew the teacher and mean something more funny and laughed of sheer courtesy.
Mr Harris said that the he was impressed by the progress which made by the taplow and also he understood some things rest of other class will do it.
