Influence of humanism in the fields of art literature and science.

Explanation:

Art and Renaissance

  • The Renaissance is most notable for its cultural, literary and musical works. In painting , sculpture and architecture, Renaissance artists had broken from medieval practises. Until then, much painting had been used for church decoration, and then during Renaissance artists became more creative and valued . In the Middle Ages the artists started to sign their works,  something that was "rarely done".
  • Mathematics and geometry were popular in order to attain "perspective & proportions". The modern Restoration artists gained inspiration from their survival of classical Roman sculptures. Cities continued using some of their resources in favour of "artists & musicians".
  • The general atmosphere of society changed and artistic creativity & experimentation became more appropriate. When more people came to the cities, their arts enthusiasm rose. Rich individuals and royal court members required more artistic sophistication and more "content & form". In addition to encouraging artists to continue to support lessons, innovations by artists were promoted.
  • Using what they had learned from the "classics" & "incorporating" new & "innovative methods" in the "art & writing" about the present  events is the predecessor for today’s "modern creative expression" in art.

Literature and Renaissance

  • Humanists had the effect of stifling the growth of artistic literature and their respect for the classical of Greek and Rome. Their intense admiration promoted the near copying and duplication of traditional literature. However, the fascination in the universe increased as natural curiosity about daily life developed. Some artists were achieving a degree of fame and the writers wanted the same. Writers had felt the necessity to be recognised and this encouraged them to do "Novel & innovative" works.
  • The views of Renaissance and philosophy shaped literature in a nuanced way. The humanistic admiration for ancient Greece and Roman classics seemed to hamper the spontaneous development of literature and promote an un-imaginative replication. However, the Renaissance 's restless curiosity, its fascination in the world & its openness to "urban" stimuli had generated the need for literature which was vernacular or native and reflects contemporary new enthusiasm &  variety of contemporary life.
  • Secular literature was still a part of medieval life but gained more "sophistication & refinement" under the influence of the classics. Moreover, with devotion to personal glory, the Renaissance individuality inspired the literary culture to try bold experiments so as to gain the respect of the reviewers and patronage of prominent patrons.

Science and Renaissance

  • Humanisms became necessary for the future of science to embrace curiosity and experiment. The humanist sought to be realistic and used science to look at the world. This was very different from the past where abstract concepts were recognised clearly as realities. The experimentation and the critical, unbiased analysis and approval of the findings had greater impact than any other accomplishment on the field of science.
  • The discovery that there were such mathematical connexions in the world of nature generated many more questions. The Renaissance development spread into many areas. In designs of different type  of devices and machines , art and science  can be found. The printing press, the compass and gunpowder were some important inventions during the Renaissance.
  • Scholastic philosophers and not humanists made much of the intellectual advancement during the Renaissance. Humanists may simply be slowing science 's progress and their innate distrust of the sanctioned, scientific reasoning. Humanists felt that scholastic philosophers did not answer humanity's true needs. The scholastic way of thought undermines the long-standing idea that the whole physical world is centered on humankind. The idea that the universe could be "studied & approached" objectively was a "radical new concept".
