Palampur is a well developed village, than compared to other villages. Palampur is a village which uses modern farming methods. They have set up electricity for irrigation, and usage of fertilizers and pesticides is promoted rather than using traditional ones. Also, in non farm activities, Palampur is a village where they are involved in dairy, small scale manufacture, transport and shopkeeping. There is a presence of almost all the three sectors in this village (Primary, secondary and tertiary). All of the above state that Palampur is a well developed, economic based industry.
