Answer:

Prince Siddharta Gautama was born in 563 BC as the only heir of the family. He was born with silver spoon in his mouth. At the age of twelve he was sent to study sacred hindu scriptures. After a long span of 4 years, he returned to marry a princess. They lived happily for ten years. But, shielded from the sufferings and pain of the world since birth, Siddharta Gautama once came across an aged man, a sick man, a funeral procession and a monk begging for alms. The prince was so moved with these sights that he decided to go in the world and get the answers for human sufferings. Thus, he wandered for seven years looking for answers to his questions. Then, one day he sat under a tree for seven days and became enlightened. He renamed the tree as the Bodhi tree. He also renamed himself as "Buddha" which means "The Awakened or the Enlightened". He started giving preaches to common people regarding the truth of life and the inevitability of death.
