According to the maps, the water molecule starts from one of the two rivers that form the Tennessee River that is the Holston and French Broad rivers which is found in Knoxville.

Then it follows its way through the river, moving towards Chattanooga heading southwest towards  the neighboring state of Alabama.

And it enters through North Alabama, facing the city of Decatur, and then Florence, to follow the current and decide to visit the State of Mississippi by the border, in Pickwick Lake, to end its hectic and interstate trip, returning to Tennessee; helping to define the great Tennessee Divisions: the Middle and the West, then  connect with the Kentucky Lake.

The water molecule starts its journey from one of the two rivers that forms the Tennessee river, and these include the Holston and the French Broad Rivers.

From this point it moves along the course of the river toward Chattanooga, always heading Southwest, and then moving toward a place known as Alabama.

After that it goes to Alabama and then to France, and to Mississippi and then to Pickwick lake going to Memphis and returning to Tennessee.
