Landless labourers do not have a right over the crops grown on the land they work. Instead they are paid wages by farm owners for whom they work. Wages can be in cash or in kind e.g. crops. Farmers who own their farms may have large or medium plots extending over 10 hectares, hire labourers for various farm activities.
