Answer:

The life cycle of silk moth starts when a female silk moth lays eggs. The caterpillar or larvae are hatched from the eggs of the silk moth. The silkworms feed on mulberry leaves and give rise to pupa. In pupa stage, a weave is netted around by the silkworm to hold itself.

A silk worm is a worm in hindi (keeda). But the wierd thing is the story does not end. A silk moth lives his whole life but it's death is followed by a commercial human purpose.

  • A female silk moth lays an egg in 10-15 days .
  • A lava devalops in mulberry leaves , it feeds on it.
  • Life time it spins saliva around its body.
  • At a time comes when the oraganism inside dies and what is left is just cocoon.

Then starts the process of silk processing :

  1. In silk processing plants the silk worms are raised.
  2. Thread is dipped in big tanks of water.
  3. The cocoon is untied.
  4. Later dying is done with desired color.
