French revolution is considered as "building" of Modern World. It was caused due to economic situation, social crisis , absolute despotism of Monarch and role of intellectuals. The revolution led to emergence of new ideas regarding how to manage state and dynamic rights of citizens.

The legacy of French Revolution during 19 and 20th centuries people of world are-

1. Promotion of Modern Principles of polity and administration. It includes Equality before law, freedom of expression , setting up of Constitutional republic encouraged different nations to adopt democratic principles and philosophies.

2. Guidelines for revolutionaries and communists . It had profound effect on Russian Revolution and ideas were imbibed by Mao Zedong in his efforts to build a communist state in China.

3. The idea of liberty expressed in Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizen laid to foundation of new social order . Liberty, both political and personal became universal system.
