Answer:
The limitations of group discussion are:
- Interruptions – Group members tend to intrude on one another and give answers too snappily. This can make it delicate to come up with ideas.
- Not for everyone – Group discussion isn’t for everyone. For illustration, some people might not be comfortable speaking in front of a group and may also not be suitable to contribute as much due to anxiety. Others may find that they can not finish their participation in the discussion due to time constraints.
- Can get veritably confusing – Group conversations are awful ways to spark ideas and grease discussion. They can also get veritably confusing when the group is large or the number of motifs being bandied is relatively high. It's easy for everyone to get mixed up and not know what they’re talking about. Some people may feel that they're being ignored or that their opinion isn't as important. When someone doesn’t speak up, it could be because they’re nervous, shy, or forgot what they wanted to say.
- It was not as effective as a lecture – Group conversations are a time-consuming system of tutoring and are frequently less effective than lectures. Lectures are quick and easy to produce, while group conversations have a lot of time needed in them. Lectures also allow you to educate further than one formerly, while group discussion is limited in the number of people it can reach. Lectures can also be recorded for after use and consumption which isn't possible with group conversations.
