Coastal plains are the plains located near the sea coasts. These type of plains sometimes have very high fertility and sometimes medium but doesn't have least fertility because they are rich in humus. They get proper conditions to develop. Sometimes, due to the endogenous and exogenous factors, their layers get eroded, but not the full layers. The soft layer gets eroded first and it's hard to erode the hard layer.
