Hey mate ✌️✌️✌️

Here is your answer

1.Ganga is joined by many tributaries like Yamuna, Gandak, Ghaghara, Kosi, Son etc.

2.It is a perennial river i.e. it flows throughout the year independent of rainfall. Therefore it is a major source of water for drinking.

3.It forms large meanders, floodplains and ox-bow lakes.

4.It is also capable of producing hydro-electricity in huge amount.

5.It is a source of livelihood for the people living in the Northern plain as the alluvial soil is very fertile soil and makes a favourable condition for high yield of production.

Hope it helps you
