They make a plan on how resources are to be used sustainably in future that won't compromise with the future generations as resources crisis can happen if we don't use resources in a sustained way. The main objectives of Planning in India:

1. Economic growth- While attaining higher economic growth the possibility of eradicating poverty are high and it also helps to improve the standard of living of the people.
