Problem faced by Indian weaver in 19th century was :-

1. Increase of raw materials cotton .

2. The local people shrunk.

 3. Storage cotton.

4. Their export market collapse.  So these was the major problem .  

Some ther points are:

non availability of superior cotton seeds

competition from handloom sectors

high tax subjected by the British

lack of modern means of cultivation

less demand for export

non grading of cotton as in developed countries

irrigation problems

The major problems faced by Indian cotton weavers in 19th century are:-

✒  A long decline of textile export from India.

✒  The local market, shrank, being glutted with Manchester imports.

✒  Produced by machines at lower costs, the imported cotton goods so cheap that weavers could not easily compete with them.  

✒  Weaving regions of India narrated stories of decline and desolation.

✒ They could get sufficient supply of raw cotton of good quality.
