an incident in saigon native girls school in 1926 created agitation among Vietnamese student. a Vietnamese student sitting in one of the front seat of her classroom was asked to vacate the seat for a French student. when she refused she was expelled. Mod Over The Other student who supported her also expelled from the school.

but this incident led to a further spread of agitation. seeing the situation getting out of control the principal took all the student back. for the student agitated against the government policy to prevent the Vietnamese from getting white collar jobs.
