1. Control Over Population Growth- Control over population growth is necessary to solve the problem of unemployment. For this the programmes of family welfare should be advertised and implemented widely otherwise the problem of unemployment will become the perennial problem.

2. Development of Small and Cottage Industries- To provide opportunities of employment to a large number of people in the country small and cottage industries should be developed.

3. Planning of Man Power- According to the need of economic development planning of man power is necessary for the supply of educated and trained and competent employees. This will help the labourers to get job of their choice and employers can get skilled labourers according to their need.

4. To Check the Movement of Rural People Towards City- Tendency of residing in cities deserting rural areas should be prevented. For this opportunities of employment in the villages will have to be created and other attractive remuneration will have to be given.

5. Proper Utilization of Natural Resources- India has vast reserves of natural resources which should be utilized properly. It will create maximum opportunities of employment and the problem of unemployment can be solved.
