Immadi Pulakeshi was the most powerful and famous ruler of the chalukya dynasty of Vatapi.
After the death of Mangalesha, he faced much opposition from rivals from different empires.
Pulakeshi fought all of them very bravely and retained the consistency and glory of his kingdom very well.
As per the Aihole inscription is considered, pulakeshin took the policy of Bheda which means “divide and conquer” and increased the area of his dynasty.
