Answer: Rutherford performed the alpha particle scattering experimen, and though his observations, he de some conclusions regarding the "structure of atom".

Explanation:They were-

1. Most of the space in the atom is empty as most of the alpha particles passed through the foil undeflected.

2. The positive charge and most of the mass of the atom was densely concentrated in extremely small region, and was called as nucleus by Rutherford.

3. The nucleus is surrounded by electrons that move around the nucleus at very high speed in fixed paths called as orbits.

4. The electron and nucleus were held together by electrostatic forces of attraction.
