Answers
Movements of goods from Mesopotamia to other countries.
Mesopotamia was rich in agriculture but lack in some minerals, metals, stones and good quality of woods. To overcome from lack of these things, Ancient Iraq traded with other countries like Iran, Turkey and across the Gulf where they exchanged their agricultural produce and textiles with shells, woods, copper, tin and many other metals and minerals. These regions had minerals resources but lack some agricultural products.
Therefore, the next challenge in movement of goods were mode of transportation. As bullock carts were too expensive for them and was tough for then to trade with them on long distances. Animals required feed to cover long distances and it was way too slow. So that they choose river routes for transportation of goods with using ships. Euphrates river was considered as a important route for transportation. After that canals also were seen as a very good way of transportation of goods.
