They were selling fruits on the outskirts .

Then the narrator came through his car .
His driver asked that not to buy the fruits from here .
The narrator wanted to buy the fruits from there .

But the driver didn't wanted to do so bcoz the children were looking poor and not so good .
He told him that there r much fresh fruits available in the city.


but the narrator buys the fruit from them.

In the Beautiful and heart touching story "Two Gentleman of Verona" ..

⏩ The narrator and his companion was coming to Verona and his driver Luigi Was driving through foothills of the Alps .
Two young boys stopped them on the outskirt of Verona , a big city in Italy . They were selling wild strawberries . They stopped them considering them their prospective customer . They had a shabby appearance one of them was wearing a worn jersy and cut off Khaki pants . The other boy was wearing a shortened army tunic gathered in loose folds over his skinny framel .

⏩ The author and his companion were strangely attracted to the two boys with their brown skin , tangled hair and dark earnest eyes . The narrator's companion talked to the boys and they come to know that they were brothers . The elder brother was Nicola who was thirteen years old and younger brother was Jacopo who was twelve years old .

⏩ He barely came up to the door handle of their car . The narrator and his companion felt strangely attracted boy by their innocent look . They were determined to help the boys in their humble way bought their biggest basket of strawberries and set off towards the town ......
