Natural vegetation refers to a plant community, which has grown naturally without human aid and has been left undisturbed by humans for a long time. This is termed as a virgin vegetation. Thus, cultivated crops and fruits, orchards form part of vegetation but not natural vegetation.

The five varieties of Natural vegetation forests are:

Tropical Evergreen Rain Forests: Trees, creepers  and shrubs are species of  these forests.

Tropical Deciduous Forests: Teak, Bamboos, sal, shisham, are species of those forests.  

Dry Deciduous Forests: Sal, Peepal, and Neem are species of these forests.

Semi Desert: Silver fir, pines are the trees of these forests.

Mangrove Forests: Palm, coconut, agar, grow in some other places of these forests.
