In hot deserts,
1. The plants and trees are scattered.
2.They have deep tap roots to suck water from the underground.
3. In most of the plants like cactus, the leaves are modified into spines to prevent water loss.
In cold deserts,
1.The trees are probably like pines.
2.The trees have leaves like fibres (like the leaves of casuarina) to prevent water loss.
3. Sometimes the have waxy coat too.
