Solution

According to mirror formula

→ 1/u + 1/v = 1/f

→ -1/15 + 1/v = -1/12

→ 1/v = 1/15 - 1/12

→ 1/v = 12 - 15/180

→ 1/v = -3/180

→ v = -180/3 = -60cm

Hence

  • Image distance = -60cm
  • Nature of image= Real and inverted
