Our society is in the dire need of involving the various sectors that exist in a society to address the issues and propose solutions. Involving community in school education helps the students to learn from early age that we all have certain responsibilities towards the community where we live in. It will help to raise responsible, mindful and decent citizens. It also helps to engage the students and achieve better results in academics. Few of the ways that can help to engage the community in education are,

-  Volunteer services in any religious activity or social activity by students.

-  By inviting parents and families to be a part of school functions and activities.

- By giving sponsorship to the people/groups/organizations that are in need of help e.g. donation of old clothe, toys or food to orphanage, old homes etc.

- By identifying any problem and engaging the relevant govt. agency, business organization etc. to resolve the issue.

- By encouraging students to teach underprivileged children.

Involving all  segments of the society helps to bring a greater change in the lives of children and young adult.

Answer: Community participation in school is very much needed to run the show properly.

The local community can contribute with funds to improve the school building; they can donate land for the extension of the building.

The community can collect funds and build a laboratory in the school for the students, or they can cook the mid-day meals with minimum wages to feed the students.

Without the involvement of the community, a school cannot run successfully and include all demographics in their student list.
